Mezzi / Julie Gomez

Originally from Colombia, Mezzi is a filmmaker who grew up in Brooklyn, New York and has lived in Louisiana and Texas. The culture she embodies has been pieced together like Frankenstein. After working as a producer and director in New York City for almost a decade, she moved to Barcelona to escape the fast life of the concrete jungle. As a filmmaker and artist she derives pleasure from creating work that is always personal and unapologetic.
